The 1994 performance of the Poet's Theater Play Memory Play by Carla Harryman took place at The Lab in San Francisco, back when it was on Divisadero Street. It was directed by Philip Horvitz with visual installation by artist John Woodall. The cast was comprised of poets, visual artists, and performance artists: Scott Macleod (Pelican), John (Reptile), Nancy McClellen (Fish), Michelle Rollman (Child), Wayne Smith (Instruction), and Kevin Killian (Miltonic Humiliator). It was originally published by O Books in 1994, with a later edition included in the SplitLevel Text edition A Voice to Perform in 2020.
